Call ducks
Calls were originally bred to be live decoy ducks. They are now mostly raised for showing and pets. Call ducks make excellent pets, they are hardy and easy to care for. They are extremely small with loud unique voices. The female calls make great mothers and setters. They are also sometimes used as surrogate mothers for more expensive ducks. Call ducklings are sometimes put in with wood ducklings to help teach them to eat. They are very friendly and inquisitive ducks.
